About This Map
Regional Data
Pest activity data is based on six US climate regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, West, and Pacific Northwest. Each region has distinct seasonal pest patterns driven by temperature, humidity, and rainfall.
Intensity Levels
Low means occasional sightings are possible. Moderate indicates regular activity likely requiring professional attention. High means peak season with significant infestation risk without preventive treatment.
Year-Round Pests
Bed bugs, cockroaches, and rodents are active year-round in heated buildings. Mosquitoes peak May through September. Scorpions are summer pests in the Southwest. Wildlife removal peaks in spring and fall.
